Marketing Coordinator

Overview

We are seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to support daily marketing activities across the company.

The Marketing Coordinator will assist with content creation, social media, website updates, email marketing, event support, and general administrative tasks. This position will work closely with each of our departments to ensure consistent messaging and help execute the company’s marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Support & Project Coordination

  • Assist in organizing and maintaining the annual marketing calendar.
  • Help coordinate communication between departments to ensure consistent branding.
  • Track project timelines and maintain documentation for ongoing marketing activities.
  • Support relationships with vendors, printers, and media partners.

Digital Marketing

Website

  • Assist with updating website content and refreshing homepage banners.
  • Conduct basic monthly reviews to check for broken links or outdated content.

Social Media

  • Help plan and create content for social media (approx. 12–16 posts per month).
  • Schedule posts and collaborate with teams to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with photo/video capture when needed.
  • Help monitor comments, messages, and online reviews.

Email Marketing

  • Support creation of bi-monthly newsletters and occasional urgent communications.
  • Proofread content for accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Assist with maintaining email lists and managing company email signatures.
  • Help coordinate customer surveys.

Print & Promotional Materials

  • Assist in gathering content and coordinating production of printed materials such as brochures, signage, direct mail, and promotional items.
  • Help maintain mailing lists for direct mail campaigns.

Event Support & Community Relations

Industry Events

  • Assist with preparing marketing materials, displays, and supplies for trade shows, job fairs, and community events.

 

 

Company Events

  • Support planning for internal events such as meetings, employee gatherings, and appreciation events.

Community Engagement

  • Help maintain Chamber of Commerce communications and memberships.
  • Assist in coordinating donations, award submissions, and community initiatives.

Special Campaigns

  • Support planning and execution of seasonal or targeted campaigns (e.g., anniversary promotions, partner campaigns).
  • Help coordinate branded items, employee swag, and uniforms.

Internal Communications & Brand Support

  • Assist HR with updates to internal documents and branding materials.
  • Help maintain company templates and internal marketing resources.
  • Support creation of internal newsletters, staff communications, and training materials.

Photo & File Management

  • Help organize and maintain company photo assets in Dropbox.
  • Assist with basic photo collection and archiving processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Internship or some prior marketing experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and willing to learn new tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and social media platforms.
  • Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
