Terrific experience! We interviewed several different landscaping companies for help with our hardscape project. Poul’s, and specifically Andrew, was by far the easiest to work with. Not only did they come in with a competitive bid, but spent a great deal of time with us up front, before we even had a contract, helping us figure out exactly what we wanted.

During the project the project managers were on site and on task, handling any issues that arose quickly and efficiently. Even after completion when we had an issue with the filling between some of the pavers, they came back quickly and resolved the problem.

I highly recommend them and would absolutely use them again.

Poul’s did an exceptional job. Their designer came out and discussed what I wanted done. He drew up a plan for the patio within a week and was able to get the work completed before Thanksgiving. Throughout the project, they stayed in contact with me. After removing the deck, we discovered some rotted wood along the foundation that needed to be replaced and a crack in the foundation that had to be filled. They had a contractor replace the wood on a Saturday so they could stay on schedule.

The 3 gentlemen doing the work, did a great job. They worked extremely hard even when the weather started getting cold. They were here early every morning and made sure everything was cleaned up before they left. That included sweeping the driveway and picking up any trash. Their work on the patio was high quality.

I found it extremely easy to work with Poul’s. The plan was well thought out and what I wanted. They stayed on schedule despite a few unexpected issues that had to be resolved. The patio and the yard turned out more beautiful than I even imagined. I would highly recommend using Poul’s for your landscaping project.

We needed a true landscape designer and contacted Poul’s Landscaping.  Rick came for the initial brainstorming session to hear our vision of a perennial makeover. We are not plant experts so we were leaving it up to Rick who made a great impression that initial visit. Rick’s next visit was to show us his blueprint drawing.  It looked outstanding and he included pictures of the landscape that he was proposing which really brought the blueprint to life. Rick is extremely knowledgeable, creative, listened intently to what we wanted to achieve, and stayed within our budget.   He was onsite every step of the way guiding his team (who were also wonderful and hardworking).  The finished product is beautiful and we couldn’t be happier.  Rick’s expertise and customer service went above and beyond all our expectations.

Having had such a wonderful experience with Rick, we decided to hire Poul’s maintenance department to do our fall and spring cleanup, fertilizing program, core aeration and mid-summer pruning.  Jon and his team have been on time with all our scheduled maintenance services and have done a terrific job.  We get a call ahead of time letting us know when they will be coming and what service they will perform on that day.

Overall, Poul’s has been an outstanding company to work with in all aspects of our landscaping and we highly recommend them to everyone.
