The Associate Landscape Designer is involved in working with individual clients from the initial consultation to the completion of their landscape vision. This includes client consultations, site surveying, design, revisions, budgeting, procurement, and permitting, as well as assisting the project manager during installations and ensuring overall satisfaction.

  • Use AutoCAD and 3D software for design processes.
  • Prepare designs that meet client goals and budgets.
  • Present and revise designs based on client feedback.
  • Prepare drawings and material orders to ensure project success.
  • Procure subcontractor bids and manage permitting processes.
  • Work on-site with project managers.
  • Participate in professional development to maintain industry standards.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Horticulture, or related fields.
  • Five years of professional experience.
  • Knowledge of design principles, plant materials, and hardscape techniques.
  • Team-oriented and self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
