Job Summary:
The Lawn and Plant Healthcare Technician is responsible for delivering lawn and plant healthcare services to customers, following company safety protocols and operational procedures. The technician plays a key role in supporting Poul’s business objectives and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
- Perform lawn, tree, and plant healthcare applications according to the company’s operating procedures.
- Identify pests and diseases affecting client lawns and plants.
- Operate company application equipment safely and within equipment specifications.
- Travel to job sites using a company vehicle to perform contracted services, adhering to client specifications.
- Respond to client inquiries and provide updates on services in a professional, efficient, and positive manner.
- Availability to work overtime as required.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- IL Pesticide Operator’s License (preferred) or ability to obtain certification within 14 days of employment.
- Horticulture background or experience with plants is a plus but not required.
- Experience working in various weather conditions and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Previous experience in a customer-focused, safety-conscious business environment.
- Valid driver’s license required.
